Procedures

Areas of Practice

Endoscopic Discectomy

Endoscopic Discectomy is used to treat herniated discs in the spine. It is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that removes herniated disc material that is pressing on the nerve roots and causing pain.

Minimally Invasive Surgical (MIS) Posterior Cervical Fusion

MIS Posterior Cervical Fusion is a procedure performed on the back of the neck to stabilize the spine so that pain or deformity is reduced.

Neuromodulation

Neuromodulation uses specific stimulus, such as electrical stimulation or chemical agents, on specific neurological sites in the body to alter nerve activity.

Laser Tumor Ablation

Laser Ablation uses light to heat and destroy unwanted cells in order to get rid of tumors and other lesions.

Cervical Artificial Disc Replacement

Cervical Artificial Disc Replacement removes damaged or degenerated cervical disc and replaces it with an artificial disc device.

Minimally Invasive Surgical (MIS) Lateral Fusions

MIS Lateral Fusions are procedures aimed to alleviate the pain associated with a compressed nerve in the lower (lumbar) back.

Deep brain stimulation

Deep Brain Stimulation is a surgery that implants a device that sends electrical signals to brain areas responsible for body movement. Electrodes are placed deep in the brain and are connected to a stimulator device. This neurostimulator uses electric pulses to regulate brain activity.

Advanced Biologics

Biologics are produced from living organisms or contain components of living organisms and can be used in spine fusion surgery to cure deformities such as trauma, tumors, degenerative disc disease, and spinal cord injuries

Lumbar Artificial Disc Replacement

Lumbar Artificial Disc Replacement removes damaged or degenerated disc in the lumbar spine and replaces it with an artificial disc device.

Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF)

ACDF is a procedure used to treat nerve root or spinal cord compression by decompressing the spinal cord and nerve roots of the cervical spine with a discectomy in order to stabilize the corresponding vertebrae.

Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF)

ALIF is a spine surgery that approaches the spine from the front of the body to remove disc or bone material from in-between two adjacent lumbar vertebrae.

Minimally Invasive Surgical (MIS) sacroiliac (SI) joint treatment

MIS surgical SI joint treatment provides stabilization and fusion of the SI joint for some causes of SI joint pain. This is accomplished by inserting triangular-shaped titanium implants across the joint to maximize post-surgical stability and weight bearing capacity.
